Alma, a short film written and directed by Spanish Pixar character animator Rodrigo Blaas, is available online. Alma tells the story of a curious little girl that discovers a toy shop with a doll dressed like her. 



The short has been developed with great professionals. Among them: Spanish animator Daniel Peixe, character designer Carlos Grangel and Sergio Pablos, ArtDirector Alfonso Blaas, music composer Mastretta and sound designer Tom Myers




The short film has won the following awards.






  • Best animation short at LA Shorts Fest.
  • Best creation at Animacor (International Animation Festival in Spain)
  • Best Opera Prima at I Castelli Animati in Italy.
  • Best National Creation at Boca Del Lobo in Spain.
  • Special Mention at Fantastic Fest.
  • Jury Honorable Mention at Siggraph.
  • Best of Festival at Animazing in Los Angeles.
